Rural Fire Service Information for Travellers.
If you’re travelling during the bush fire season, there is a chance that you could be affected by a fire. Bush and grass fires are often near roads and highways, meaning that your visibility can be reduced…or roads you are using could be closed.
NSW Rural Fire Service have published a booklet titled “Bush Fire Safety for Travellers”, which includes a checklist of what to check before you hit the road, and what to do in the event of a fire.
