Rural Fire Service Information for Travellers.

If you’re travelling during the bush fire season, there is a chance that you could be affected by a fire. Bush and grass fires are often near roads and highways, meaning that your visibility can be reduced…or roads you are using could be closed.

NSW Rural Fire Service have published a booklet titled “Bush Fire Safety for Travellers”, which includes a checklist of what to check before you hit the road, and what to do in the event of a fire.

To download the brochure, just go to www.rfs.nsw.gov.au/plan-and-prepare/travelling-in-a-bush-fire-area.
