Montague Island Nature Reserve Tours

Attractions

Montague Island is an amazing place, just nine kilometres offshore from Narooma. Visitors can explore the island’s lighthouse history, its Aboriginal heritage and its remarkable plants and wildlife as well as explore the island’s unique landscape.

The Island is home to NSW’s largest Fur Seal colony and NSW’s largest Little Penguin colony. Gulls, Crested Terns and Shearwaters breed through spring and summer. Springtime also sees humpback whales move south on their annual migration from tropical waters to their Antarctic feeding grounds.

There are three tours available daily: Morning, Afternoon and Evening tours.

Accommodation is also available for two or more nights for self-catering trips.

Due to current health advice on social distancing, please contact the business for the most up to date information regarding opening times and services.
