Mon Repos Conservation Park is a quiet coastal oasis where you can enjoy walking and cycling tracks and experience the wonder of a turtle encounter.
From November to March, visitors can see nesting and hatching turtles on the beach at night. The largest concentration of nesting marine turtles on the eastern Australian mainland occurs at Mon Repos.
Visit the Mon Repos Turtle Centre to find out about marine turtles and the park. If it’s turtle season, book into a ranger-guided night-time Turtle Encounter tour. You’ll be in the box seat when it comes to seeing this magical and ancient circle of life.
Outside of turtle season, you can explore one of the many coastal tracks. Cycle or walk along the Turtle trail—it’s part of a longer track that joins the park with nearby coastal towns. See how many bird species you can spot on the Ponds boardwalk.
