Set on the historical grounds of St Joseph’s Convent, Kensington, South Australia, the Josephites’ first permanent Mother House. It was established by Saint Mary MacKillop in 1872, and it is here that she lived, prayed and worked until 1883.

Mary MacKillop Precinct incorporates: Mary MacKillop Museum Adelaide – Relaunch December 1, 2019. This unique Museum will offer visitors and engaging and inspiring experience, celebrating the life and legacy of Mary MacKillop.

St Joseph’s Chapel: Mary’s much-loved place of prayer. It has become a place of pilgrimage, prayer and peace for people of all ages and backgrounds.

Bethany Centre: Our events are for everyone! We offer spirituality, personal/professional workshops, as well as reflection and retreat days. Bethany is also available for hire.

Listening to the Heartbeat of the World! Mary MacKillop Precinct is a place of pilgrimage, hospitality, spirituality and education, creating a legacy for all who will come after us.
