Hahndorf Venison uniquely combines the farming of deer with venison production. With our independently owned Government Approved & audited, Quality Assured processing facility, we try very hard to present the very best venison available in Australia. Following established land management and deer farming best practice models enhances our day to day deer farming and venison processing activities. Our commitment toward long term product continuity and consistency is underpinned by our fully integrated, authentic pasture to kitchen production concept. Extending beyond the production facility, small group farm tours are welcome and can be arranged for food service professionals, food addicts and those who have a general interest in food provenance. Visitors will have the opportunity of close up and personal encounters with several species of the deer kind and gain an overview of our distinctive farming approach. An added farm tour attraction is our exclusive back to nature, wetland walk. The wetland walk is a peaceful hideaway and offers visitors to see native species of resident birds, mammals and reptiles as well as a wide variety of native flora.
