Built in 1888, the Grand Hotel watches proudly over the main street or Portarlington and down to the popular and scenic harbour area.
A recent changing of the guard at the historic 133-year-old Grand Hotel is generating buzz and excitement. The new team is headed by experienced hotel operators, and they are wasting no time in enhancing the current offering ahead of a major renovation slated for early 2021.
New food and beverage selections take advantage of the wonderful local products available right there on the Bellarine. Enjoy plenty of local beers, wines, ciders and gins – not to mention farm-fresh local produce coming out of the kitchen.
The Bistro is open seven days a week for lunch and dinner from 11:30am to 9:30pm.
Other spaces at the hotel are also open to explore and enjoy, including the Front Bar and the huge Courtyard area.
Head down for a drive to Portarlington or enjoy a comfortable journey across the bay with Port Phillip Ferries. They travel to Portarlington two times a day, direct from Docklands, Melbourne.
