Eldridge Estate of Red Hill – ‘a sense of place’. Planted in 1984 and owned by David Lloyd since 1995 Eldridge Estate is a three hectare vineyard located in the coolest part of the Mornington Peninsula hinterland.
The Mornington Peninsula is just over an hour from Melbourne via the freeway. The area is renown for its beaches, holiday towns, golf courses, horse riding, nature reserves, farm gate produce, boutique distilleries and wineries. The Peninsula has long been a playground for the people of Melbourne, yet Red Hill remains a tranquil rural community. It is in this idyllic environment that Eldridge Estate consistently produces premium quality wines with a true sense of place. Wines include the superb Chardonnay, a gorgeous Gamay and sublime Pinot Noir.
Please note that Eldridge Estate does not have a restaurant but in summer months they have olives and oil by local producer Harts farm available with crusty bread to enjoy on the deck along with the beautiful view.
The vineyard is run sustainably, with a zero-carbon footprint and use of organic sprays such as sulphur and ecocarb. The carpark has a Tesla destination charger for use by our customers.
Eldridge Estate does have a Covid-19 plan in place which will require all visitors to prebook tastings with a $10 pp tasting fee and to have their temperature checked on arrival.
