Pennicott Wilderness Journeys’ Bruny Island Traveller is a fully inclusive gourmet day tour departing from Hobart, exploring the beautiful scenery and spectacular produce of Bruny Island. Guests travel in small groups, led by an experienced local guide.
Take in your surroundings as you stroll along a deserted beach, leaving your footprints in the sand. At The Neck, see the narrow isthmus stretch away south in graceful curves. These bush surroundings are home to a diverse range of wildlife including rare white wallabies.
Savour the clean salty flavour of oysters straight from the shell at the Get Shucked Oyster Farm. Meet the cheesemakers and enjoy award-winning cheeses and handcrafted ale at the Bruny Island Cheese Company. Savour a delicious morning tea at our beachside restaurant. Enjoy a wine tasting and a cellar-door lunch at Australia’s southern-most vineyard. Indulge in sweet treats at the Bruny Island Chocolate Company and Bruny Island Honey shop. Finish off your day with a tasting of Tasmanian single malt whisky of gin at the Bruny Island House of Whisky.
Tours depart Hobart at 0745 and return at 1730.
