Bermagui’s famous Blue Pool is a ‘must see’ Sapphire Coast attraction. A natural ocean rock pool, it is washed with clean clear sea water and is a wonderful swimming and snorkelling spot. A viewing platform offers magnificent coastal views and is the perfect spot for shore-based whale watching (in season).
Located off Pacific Drive at the base of a dramatic rocky cliff face, there are well formed steps down to the pool as well as toilet, cold shower and change room amenities.
The Blue Pool has been rated six out of eight of the best ocean rock pools in the world and, after being awarded a Trip Advisor Certificate of Excellence each year from 2015 to 2018, it was inducted into the TripAdvisor Hall of Fame in 2019.
