Barragga Bay

Attractions

Barragga Bay is a secluded, golden beach 10 kilometres south of Bermagui.

It is bordered by rocky headlands and backed by gorgeous spotted gum bushland.

The northern headland is dotted with rock pools deep enough for a dip and which have stunning views south over the bay, but don’t forget your shoes as the rocks are sharp.

This beach is not patrolled, and there are no facilities.

Barragga Bay is also close to Four Winds Concert Hall and Sound Shell, which holds regular concerts and festivals during the year.

The Sapphire Coast’s only official clothing optional beach, Armands Beach, is right next door and accessible via the same road, Kullaroo Road.
