Great Ocean Road

One of the most renowned sights in Victoria is the Great Ocean Road. Stretching over 600km, it is one of the most scenic drives in the world. Along the coastal drive, you will see some of the best Australian scenery, nature and wildlife. If you’re starting your journey in Melbourne, spend a couple of nights in Geelong before you head off. You’ll feel right at home with the friendly locals and chilled out vibe. Echuca

If you’re seeking a fun family getaway location, look no further than Echuca, located just across the Murray River from the New South Wales border town of Moama. Take a paddle steamer ride across the Murray River, or if you want something a bit more thrilling, try out water skiing, wakeboarding or even knee boarding!  The whole family will love a visit to Billabong Ranch Adventure Park, where you can partake in some mini golf, rock climbing, pedal boats and pony rides. After a busy day in Echuca, Rich River Tourist Park is the perfect spot to enjoy some peace and quiet. Away from the noise of the main highway, the Park is still within easy walking distance to the beach, river and town centre. Bendigo

In need of some culture in your life? The city of Bendigo offers a range of arts and cultural activities to immerse yourself in. Visit the Bendigo Art Gallery, one of Australia’s oldest galleries, to view a range of Australian artwork, some dating back to 1850. Walk the streets and find a number of things to do. Phillip Island
