Welcome to Family Parks
 Family Parks is an independent group of caravan parks and camping grounds currently situated throughout all States and territories of Australia and in New Zealand.
The concept of Family Parks was initiated in August 1990 as a result of the constant demand for information relating to suitable caravan parks and camping grounds in the customer's intended direction of travel. It became apparent that an umbrella organization was required to serve the customer in a professional manner, be able to recommend suitable parks and accommodation and provide a book-ahead service.
Thus Family Parks was formed.
Family Parks has four main aims:
- to provide a friendly 'family' atmosphere for our customers,
- to provide quality service and facilities for our customers,
- to ensure all our customers have an enjoyable holiday,
- to enable our Members to receive a discount for their loyalty to our chain.
Standard Required
Family Parks have a minimum of three star rating from AAA or Qualmark with a few exceptions where geographical location makes attaining this standard impossible. Our Parks are also required to be neat and well presented with clean serviceable amenities. A range of accommodation must be provided including unpowered and powered sites as well as on-site caravans or cabins, especially ensuite units. All Family Parks are inspected by independent consultants. Parks can allow pets at the discretion of the individual Park Owners/Operators.
