EVERYWHEN Artspace

Attractions

EVERYWHEN Artspace specialises in a wide range of contemporary Australian Aboriginal art featuring paintings, barks, ochres, sculptures, ceramics, weavings and works on paper from over 40 Aboriginal-owned art centres around Australia.

EVERYWHEN is named in tribute to the anthropologist W.E.H Stanner who, in his 1953 essay ‘The Dreaming’ in describing the nature of time as it relates to the Aboriginal belief system, said “One cannot ‘fix’ The Dreaming in time, it was and is everywhen.”

Directors Susan McCulloch OAM and Emily McCulloch Childs bring more than 40 years of experience as Australian art writers, publishers, speakers, consultants, curators and gallerists.

The gallery features regularly changing displays of Aboriginal art; hundreds of works available online and in the gallery; exhibitions online and in the gallery on themes, regions and styles of Aboriginal art; informative online catalogues; online curators floor talks.
