Spear Creek Caravan Park has it all. Located 25 kilometres south-east of Port Augusta, the park’s eastern boundary follows the summit of the Flinders Ranges north from Horrocks Pass, with walking trails through deep gorges to range top views of upper Spencer Gulf. You may meet any of the three different species of kangaroos, echidnas or 85 species of birds including wedge-tail eagles and peregrine falcons who call Spear Creek home.
The park has powered and unpowered sites, spacious two bedroom bungalows each with its own courtyard and gas barbecue, motel style rooms with ensuite and limited cooking facilities. For guests staying in our bunk style accommodation or camping in the caravan park, there is a fully equipped kitchen and dining room area. Numerous fire rings provide the ambience of the bush. Bush camping along the creek is available for groups large and small.
